Hey folks
I am currently being driven insane by the passenger side droplink knocking. I am going to have a go myself but the Haynes manual basically says "remove it and refit it" as far as instructions go.
Just a couple of questions of one of you guys could help out.
Do you have to do them in pairs (i.e like coil springs)?
Is it just a case of removing the 2 bolts and fitting a new one? I don't trust haynes as they are evil.
And are there any pitfalls?
Cheers
Pete

Jack up the front evenly or it will be a pig to change, due to the preload on your ARB.
Have vise-grips handy, if possible also a die grinder or Dremel type tool with slitting disc.

Yes, as long as both wheels are off the deck...
Better doing both but not essential if only one is gone, but the other might not be far behind it.
I changed both of mine the other week. It's a quick job and both bolts came off easily, but then it's the second time I have changed them.

Make sure you purchase decent ones, the cheap ones only last a matter of months.

Thanks a lot guys, I've looked on euro car parts and they offer 2, one is about £22(TRW) and the other is £12 (Ocap) think I'll go with the TRW ones!
I also could live the rest of my life happily without seeing a squished red human, so axle stands it is!!
