What's your RPO code on the driver's door pillar or your VIN?

Brajmobil, any thoughts on a quick way to determine if it's Van or Can?

Lexia will tell you. If you don't have Lexia then.... Hmmm....

Google found this: http://www.ycarlink.com/pd_15917_How-to-...n-bus-.htm

According to this website, it's probably CAN after 2007, but it looks like there may be a quick check and possibly a slightly less quick way of finding out.

1, If your OBD connector has pins 6 & 14, it may well be using CAN
2, If you can get hold of an OBD-II adaptor such as the cheapo ELM327s on fleabay, and download the free version of Torque or similar. The App will tell you what protocol it's using to communicate. My 2004 is VAN & if IIRC it use KWP Fast.

SORTED :-)
I took the stalk out and it looks like Peugeot 406 stalk according part number.
I ordered Berlingo stalk from eBay and all works, all buttons working and I was able to set the time and date.
Very happy :-)

Thank you for help and advice guys.

Can you please write down part numbers?

For both stalks.

Thank you in advance.

So the wrong stalk had been fitted at the factory, but it worked with the factory radio? That's interesting, it must mean that the stalks generate different codes.....

Glad you got it fixed tho!

Maybe this should go into the 'solved' section ?
