Hi all!........ How the devil are we?....... I need to order some front brake pads and disks for my 1.9D 2003 (No ABS)..... Need to keep costs down as much as possible, but at the same time I don't want to get a crappy set that'll need replacing again soon! :brickwall:
I Just wondered if anybody could recommend a parts supplier that I could order from online that aint gonna leave my pocket empty?
Thank you,

Eurocarparts are your best bet. You might be able to save a couple of quid on eBay but you can have them in your hand today and at decent quality (Pagid/Eicher).
Edit: Just saw the online part in your OP. They do free delivery to, and time dependent it can be same day IIRC.

Typical, i used a similar code a month or so ago to purchase pads and discs. Only a week or so ago said code had expired and my exhaust rusted out & couldnt wait...

The words decent quality and Eicher should never be used in the same sentence. Fitted some on mine an were warped after 15k miles
Pagid, Mintex, Brembo, Ferrodo are you best bets

Thanks for the posts fellas. All these prices are a lot cheaper than I had been quoted.....
Phoned a few auto part places in my home town and was quoted £80 + VAT, £60 + VAT, thought I'd phone up Hellfrauds as well, (just for a laugh of course), £90 for the set............. There's some cheeky B******s about...........
One last question if you please?........ My van is a 2003, 1.9D with NO ABS. A couple of the places asked if they were vented or non vented discs.... Will both of these options work for me, bearing in mind the Berl has no ABS?....... Was also asked to check the calipers to see if they were Bosch or another make, don't understand what difference this makes........ Must admit I do want to get the right ones though.
Thanks guys :-)

To be sure just give them a quick check yourself, turn the steering wheel left or right so you can grab the disk, and have a feel. The vented discs will be thicker, like two discs together with a small gap between:

I was talking generally having used both brands interchangably from ECP without any trouble (yet), getting good miles out of both.
For another company, try http://www.carparts4less.co.uk/ - a sister company of ECP that sometimes has the same parts at lower prices.
