[Engine] reverse light switch

Hi!

How can I change my reverse light switch by myself?

In defence of PK,I think he meant only that it was a simple job.I wish my Russian was 1/2 as good as his English.

@ Ron. Don't mean to be pedantic but does that post talk about the brake light? The reverse light switch is in the gearbox. It's fairly easy to spot and easily accessed from the front of the car iirc. Look to the left of the battery on the gearbox disconnect the connector and unscrew the switch. You'll see the brass plunger in the end of the switch will be worn or it just wont work (try a continuity test). It is a 10 minute job.

In fact It is not necessary to drain a geardox out or unmount something terrible like CVs or gearbox itself.

@fdanfn Please, see a picture below. Reverse sensor is on position no.19

Can somebody please post an idiot proof diagram for complete newbie on where to look, etc.
Reversing lights not working, both bulbs gone, replacement bulbs dont work. Want to check switch before coughing up for an auto electrician.
