problem connecting diagbox to the Berlingo2 2004

Hy Everybody

i am having a nightmare in the last days with diagbox.
I have bought from ebay the PP2000 / Lexia 3 For Citroen Peugeot Diagnostic Tool Diagbox 7.82 963830C/4.3.3V and i have encounter the following problems:

a) first i can only install the updates till 7.74 the others it opens but no interface shown.
b) secondly when i connect the above cable it lights up the green light but no answer from the pc.
c) third i have install the drivers and netframework 3,5 
d) the PSA interface checker doesn´t work either means doesn´t find any version
e) i have work with windows xp sp3 and windows 7 32 bits both OS return the same problems.
Presently i have it install in a virtual box and the OS is windows 7 32bits.

Do appreciate your help

I've never tried installing it in a VM. If you plug a normal usb stick into a usb port on the pc/laptop can you see it from the VM?

My friend you are a star : in fact i didn´t see any usb stick or any other ...so i set up for the usb citroen cable e Voilá it works  straight.. Many thanks
