Why so salty... Im just saying that even in that age some systems gave more function no need to act like this...

I think there is a little bit of translation loss.

"not really useful" can be interpreted as "useless", when actually I think you're just trying to say more limited in function compared to other more modern systems.

so i could say the headlight switch is useless as all it really does is switch the lights on no good for anything else in my berlingo ;-) But then again i dont have to touch my headlight switch in my Honda as it automatically switches  the headlights on and off when needed it also switches the high beam on and off when its needed and if its switched the high beam on and sees a car coming towards me it dips the lights then goes back to high beam if it thinks i need it. Now thats a smart switch ;-)
