Air con gas weight??

Hi everybody

Does anybody know the specific weight of aircon gas needed to refill a system on a 1.6hdi multispace 2007

hi there just hand mine done on berlingo 2.0 hdi they extracted 200 grams of r134a and put back in 750 grams of r134a hope this helps

Just had mine checked at halfords.

daughter in law works there and did it for me. £30.

gets cooler alot quicker.

There should be an underbonnet sticker giving weight and type of gas

A 1.6 will be different to a 2.0, I will have a look on autodata tomorrow if I get chance while I'm out and about, otherwise someone will chime in before me and help the OP out

Just for future searches

2.0hdi ->2002 775+/-25
2003-> 575+/-25 (build code 9457 onwards)
1.6hdi 575+/-25

I'll fill in the petrol ones later for reference

Just came across this thread while getting ready to go back to the place that re-gassed my 1.6HDi back in November & checking how much gas they need to put in. Can't be sure but I think my system is below the threshold, or empty. Strange as there were no leaks found last time.

Anyway, I came across another reference, as per Dumdum's post above it says 575g. The site linked below shows that later Berlingo's have less gas, so now I'm wondering how much they actually did put in. Mine is a late M59, April 2008 so right on the threshold.
