Hi All,
I was looking at re-sealing the exhaust camshaft cover of the 1.6 petrol version (NFU or TU5JP engine) due to a slight oil leak through the original sealant.
I had a look at the tightening torque of the bolts and they are specified as pre-tightening 0.2 da.Nm and tightening 0.8 m.daN. There is no problem with the da.Nm, as 0.2 da.Nm is 2Nm, but does anyone know what m.daN is? Is it the same as the dacanewton metre.
Here is a picture of how these two are specified, although it baffles me why put the two torque specifications one after another if they are the same, which leads me to believe they are different things.
Many thanks indeed for any help.
