Driver's seat height
#1
I have recently purchased a 2013 Multispace. So far everything seems to work correctly except the driver's seat height adjustment. Pulling the lever has no effect whatsoever on the seat height with weight on or off the seat. I think the seat is currently at its lowest position and observing the seat below shows that the lever seems to operate on a ratchet mechanism at the back of the seat. Should there be some sort of spring to raise the seat?

I have a Multispace of the same age and on mine you have to use your weight to adjust height of drivers seat.

Pull the O shaped lever by your left calf up while you are seated and while leaning forward thrust your weight forward. This this should bring the seat to its highest point. To lower it keep hold of the handle lean back with the lower part of your back and it should feel almost like a recliner.

This is of course if you mechanism is working.

The above info is spot on. Adjust the seat height first, then when at desired height move seat forward or back to get reach to pedals correct and finally adjust steering wheel reach.

Thanh you, seat height is working properly, the trick being to thrust weight forward which I was not doing.
