i love my multispace, how sad! vs st220!

Exclamation
sold my mondeo st220 and bought a 2004 multispace 2.0HDI. and I LOVE IT. 20MPG long gone. Been caught out a few times going into bends though. :-)

Parked on double yellows thursday when picking up the kids from school, police car pulled up and gave me a real ticking off. police woman sarcastically said "i was just about to look for the blue sticker on the windscreen" i didnt know whether to laugh or cry.

Really miss doing handbrake turns in the snow around trolleys in wickes carpark scareing my daughter but thats a small price to pay compared to being able to carry a small planet in the boot.

Hate french cars with a passion but: ive been told these are made in spain :-)

Tiny from the outside, tardis on the inside. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.

Chris.

You can still manage 20mpg - if you try hard enough !

You can still do handbrake turns if you want to.

You can hate French if you like, but remember, love and hate are this . far apart !!

And we love 'em

I sold a 200Bhp turbo'd MX5 to get my Berlingo, completely different drive, but so so much more practical (some would say boring).

I like the hilarious understeer on roundabouts, and still pull the odd handbrake turn... I can't decide whether my friends think I'm very sad, or just mental  but the sight of a Berlingo mid-slide usually leaves them open mouthed

My handbrake works just fine Wink You even get a nice health and safety spec beep to tell you the handbrake is on lol. I do like the Mondeo ST's, though I'd get a TDCi these days. Got a 3.0 V6 406 and thats too thristy to run daily!
