Not Berlingo but then when do I ever discuss non Berlingo so time to take advantage ......
My wife is considering buying a Citroen C1 probably second hand.
Views needed on this vehicle and more importantly what goes wrong.
What about the electronic power steering ?
Thanks all in advance, Geoff.

Off topic, slightly more...
Had a 2001 Renault Clio for 9 years, from brand new.
The electronic PAS on that was wonderful; a dream to drive and manoeuvre. Much better than the Berlingo steering.
Would imagine the C1 system would be very similar...?

My sister and step daughter both have the Toyota aygo (which is the same as the Citroen c1 and Peugeot 107 ) they have both been 100% reliable in the 3 years of ownership for both and they are well used 36000 on my step daughters and 42000 on my sisters !

I really liked my Clio. :woop:
If I didn't need a van I would have had another, or kept that one, there was nothing wrong with it!
Paid £8,500 new and sold it for £1,500, 9 and half years later. :S

My sister had one,trouble free,for 6 years.
The only reason she changed it was because she is getting old & creaky.
Being so pleased with the C1,she bought a 1.4 C3.
Compared with my Berlingo,it's as flat as a fart.Drove it to North Wales, not impressed. They must have strangled it for low emissions.

A friend of mine had a 1.4 diesel from new to 4 years old and the injector seals were the only problem he had with it.
So where does this bit go then ?

Thanks to all who have offered advice and their votes of confidence, much appreciated.
With good reliability reports it seems as if there won't be a Forum for C1 / Aygo cars.
My wife has just read these remarks and says she prefers the Aygo version, we haven't discussed colour yet.

The aygo I brought my step daughter was a cat d repaired , which I payed £4100 for , dealer price £9000 plus , it was 1 year old ! Keep your eyes open there are some bargains out there in the cat c/d repaired !
