Tow bar and roof rack equals hard work done and would put me off.
If the seller will put it through an MOT for a potential fail list then you'd have a guide to follow.
I don't know the prices in Ireland but it seems expensive to me.
Hammer the price.

Is the clutch slipping? With a van like this I would be looking to drive it myself to ensure that everything actually works as it should, but as there's no MoT you can't.
The clutch replacement, if required, is lots of money so in this case with
all of the unknowns I'd walk away. Has the present owner told you why there is no MoT?

iv not looked into it any further lads its just a bit on the dodgy side for my liking as said an mot gives a type of warrantee that the van is in good order and road worthy cheers for all the words of wisdom lads! and my search continues...
