gearbox removal

Sounds to cheap for comfort...
(But then again, I live in Norway, where parts are either hopeless to source, or cost half a paycheck... )

If you plan to replace them, you probably want to replace oil-seals on the gearbox at the same time, if you haven't already. (Not really necessary to do every time, but if they're old... )

Did the n/s one on ours the other month and did the oil seal as a mater of course (genuine one). Hardest part of the job is getting the bottom ball joint split. Mine had the bolted on one so ended up leaving the joint in place and removing the joint from the lower wish bone in stead. Prepare for oil to come out of g/box unless you drain it.
