Steering problem 1.9D Forte. Any ideas ???
#21
Well I havent found a solution yet, but am getting a bit used to it now. I helped an A1 mechanic once work on a blingo with a similar problem, we changed the power steering piston gear above the rack and it seemed to help cos the guy didnt return. He thought the fluid inlets were sticking so making the fluid transport erratic. My local mechanic here, whose opinion I rate, thought the same may be happening to mine, (a £200+ fix) that or the pump was delivering over pressured fluid sometimes. I think he had encountered the problem before but not on blingos. At some point I will get it done but as I say am getting used to it and that it seems a common problem, not so much a safety issue and it passed the MOT has quelled my panic a bit.
I just looked for a praying emote.
