Another v6 into a berlingo thread, sorry :)
#1
Maybe a long shot but hopefully someone with a bit more knowledge that me can help Big Grin
Ive searched, searched and searched again but no definitive answers

I've got a 53 plate 2.0hdi van and I understand it's multiplex wiring and I've just got my hands on a 406 d8 engine coupe, see where I'm going with this Big Grin

Fitting the engine and the fab work will all be ok but this multiplex wiring has got me
I don't want to ruin the van and chop the loom to find out it won't work

I've read some say it will work others say it won't?

As I can see my options are-
Change the van for a non multiplex van but really this is not a option only other way would be buy another van just for the loom

Could the complete 406 loom be stripped back and put in the van using most of the 406 gubbins?

If there is someone out there that could wire this into the multiplex wiring for a fee Wink Give me a shout

Any help is mucho appreciated

Not sure how you are using the search as it's broken. The guy you really want to speak to is 2 of them and one is banned.

He sold it eventually on Ebay and it was relisted few months later by someone else. Not sure where it is now. But yeah try to pm dumdum or something and see if he replies back. Great conversion but I found the fuel consumption complaints on this ES9J4S are huge. I think the GTI-6 2.0 engine is a better choice and it has been done. But yeah I know what you are saying, if you have a free engine, a broken berlingo, then why not put 2+2 together. Just don't expect profits out of this as your market will be very limited when it comes to sale.
