Faulty bsi? Desperate need for help!
#1
Hello, i am new to this group but from what i can see there are plenty of people willing to and offer great advice

I seem to be having what looks like a common problem. First the dash lights started playing up, (all illuminated) and then the wipers would do what they want when they want, and now the van will not start just turns over, i pulled the bsi unit apart and there was water corrosion on two of the connector blocks,
Dried and cleaned it, but i am experiencing the same problem, i have tried the reset but no joy with that!

Could there be a corroded wire linking the bsi and the ecu together as i have seen a few post about the red and white wire thats twisted together thats prone to corrosion

Been with out my van for 2 weeks and i am starting to get really annoyed with it, any advice would be very much appreciated

My van has been off the road for 6 months now with BSI failure, sent mine off to BBA Reman but couldn't be fix. Sounds like your BSI is corrupt will have to be sent away to be looked at.
