Heated rear screen wiring
#1
Hello
can any one help me please I am having trouble with the heated rear window on my 2006 1.6 hdi, mine has a tailgate and I cannot find a wiring diagram for it apart from the haynes manual which is not very helpful ,  I have checked all the fuses but there is no 12 volt supply coming to the back of the hrw switch.
thanks for any suggestions.

Hi there and welcome to the forum the only thing I can find in the Haynes manual is that fuse FC on the BSI unit is for heated rear screen and mirrors.
Are we there yet????? Huh

I have looked in both manuals (Haynes and makers handbook) and checked every fuse by removing it and checking with a multimeter ,, what is fuse "fc" is it hidden away somewhere
thanks

The bsi unit is the fuse board down by your right knee, unclip it and let it drop down for better access. Haynes mention FC fuse but they have been known to be wrong.
