Anyone know how / where to cross reference a PSA part number?
#1
I'm looking for the long part number for this part: 1601.CH to the equivalent 10 digit part number (example 1400839380) so that I can search for it.

Thanks

Yes, but it is not that easy. The 10-digit numbers can be obtained from here: https://www.controlunits.info/partnumbers/citroen/ , although I am not sure if this comprises all part numbers.
Unfortunately, they are not linked to the 1601.CH numbers, but to a description. Also, it is rather cumbersome to go through all of them. I did that programatically back at the time I was looking for the CC. Here is the parsed file. Could be of help.

Edit: On a second look, it seems these are only control unit numbers or electronic components part numbers.

Hi saskak, thanks for looking. By coincidence it's also related to CC, it's the accelerator pedal that goes with the speed limiter for my Expert.
I think I may have found the correct cross reference (1401281180) on an eBay part but it's not certain, and too much money to take the chance.
I'll keep looking.

How come your part number starts with 140, I thought all Citroen/Peugeot or PSA 10-digit numbers start with 96...

Maybe they changed the 10-digit for the newer cars.... or different parts start with different digits, e.g. electronic components 96, others 14, etc.

TBH, there seems to be no logic to the part numbers, short or long.
