Hello - Newbie here
#1
Err, not sure if I'll be welcome on here as I was looking for a Berlingo but have ended up with a (whisper it -Peugeot Partner) same vehicle I think with a different badge unless someone can tell me otherwise.

So. Can I stay on here or shall I get my coat?

Cheers,

Phil
PS. Great site and full of good stuff.

Hi n Welcome, always thought that the Partner was a more expensive version of the Berlingo - I had a few 205's in the past brilliant motor, but really like the berlingo now

Hi All. Thanks for the replies and being made to feel welcome on here. I will post some pics up when it stops raining..!!
The model I have bought is a Partner Combi Escapade. It is on an '07 plate, one owner from new, full main dealer service history with 71k on the clock. Black interior and it is the 1.6 diesel model-(how do I know if it's a turbo?) and has got air con.

I am looking forward to getting to know my new car as I have wanted one of these for a couple of years.

Cheers for now,

Phil Confusedalut:

All '07 1.6 Diesels are turbo-charged.
Welcome!
You now need to read the various thread on engine
oil and the absolute necessity to use the 'right stuff'!

Well I finally managed to get a pic onto the computer so here she is:

TAD AH...!! What a little beauty. For me this is the most practical vehicle I have ever owned. I am having a tow bar fitted tomorrow so that I can take my off-road motorbike with me when I go off trail riding. Got a company called 'Jim's Towbars' - who were recommended to me who have quoted £185.00 supplied and fitted.

Just seen my post and the pic is very small. Is there another way of getting a bigger pic posted on here?

Don't worry. Click on it and it comes up nice and big!
Welcome!
(By the way, what's in a name? I buy my parts for my Blingo at the Pug dealer, because they're friendlier hereabouts..)
