Ok so it takes a ten mile run way and half an hour to get there, Its an ex forestery van so im guessing and hoping its been restricted. she has plenty of torque and average m.p.g for an old bus like her only 96000 ..and serviced ..What do I look for under the bonnet to comfirm she has been restricted . Kind regards Desmondo.

The maximum speed limit in this country IS 70mph, and has been since 1965.
The majority of LCVs have been limited to 56mph since the 90s.
Many company vans are now limited to 70mph, and there are plans to limit company cars to 70 (or 75) mph.
How long before all new cars are speed limited?
Probably sooner than you think....

I drive very sedately but thats only because I dont like squandering my hard-earned on tyres and fuel and anyway its actually quite theraputic watching everyone else haring around crashing into things.
However Im not averse to the occasional burst of right-footery so I think speed limits should remain as is -after all theyre only going to get broken.
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

If you only take motorways and dual carriageways (with a central barrier) into consideration, then if your vehicle is limited to 70mph, you can never break the Law/get caught speeding.
But that wouldn't stop you doing 70mph past a school. Confusedillyme:

I've discovered how to get more warp drive from my 2.0 hdi for free.

I took all my tools out of the back
