[Engine] Fan/waterpump belt damaged! help...
#1
Hey,

My belt that runs over the waterpomp/dynamo is badly damaged cause of a bad tensioner...
Now i'm planning to put a new belt & tensioner but are there things to look after? Any How-to?)

How tight doess the belt have to be? Or is it automatically?
Grtz

depends what engine you have !
some have auto adjusters and earlier 1.9ds don't.
your water pomp is driven by the timing/cam belt
Look out for worn /noisy bearings on the alternator
The crankshaft pulley rubber insert is still intact
