Recommend tyre for Mk2 MSpace

Just bought a 2004 Berlingo Multispace 1.9D.

Want some new tyres that aren't full blown Winter tyres where you have to change them come April time but grip better in the snow / ice than normal ones, do they exist or is it just normal or Winter tyre choice etc?

You get all season tyres, they're less extreme than pure winter tyres so you can use them all year round but the payoff is that they're not quite so good in snow and ice.
I've got winter tyres fitted to mine and as I won't be doing a huge mileage I'll be leaving them on all year. They're a little noisy at speed though.
As for fitting budget tyres I won't even consider it. You may not be the fastest driver in the world but you may still need to stop extremely quickly in poor conditions and that's where cheaper tyres are typically poor. There are exeptions but they're rare.

We fit hundreds of tyres a year, and I can categorically say that there is no tyre that is better made or easier to fit than a Michelin, Citroen fit them from new, can't see any better recommendation. Constancy of manufacture also means that the car will run straight & true on a pair of these, unlike many of the budget brands.
Sure , they cost a little more, but this I payed back many times over in mileage achieved , and more over confidence.
I will only put Michelin on my cars, as you can guess, I like them !
