ignition problem

Hi , i have a berlingo van 1.9 diesel . year 2000 . im having trouble with the ignition the key seems to be working ok it goes in and turns and springs back like it should do , but thats it, all lights on dash light up but nothing. When it was running ok i was having trouble with the ignition , the key would fall out and the van would still be running

BUT ITS SORTED NOW ... NO THANKS TO THIS SITE .. IT WAS THE STARTER

Can you start the van?

Have you a spare key?

The key might be worn or if you have a heavy set of keys dangling from the ignition that can damage the lock.
