About your questions about jacking up the car...

Yesterday evening I saw a rather new VW Golf that someone had tried to jack up... And crushed the channel...

As for wiper nozzles...
I miss the more sensibly-placed nozzles on earlier cars...
(They were on the wiper arm. A long, thin plastic tube with holes poked into it)
It was such an elegant solution. Didn't hit other motorists, either...

Good idea is to release the hand brake before jacking up the car (just use child) then once lifted apply the handbrake.

Makes it easier to jack and prevents damage to the rear drum assembly/cable.

Unless of course your lifting the back of your car then its pointless doing this :-D
