wheel wobble / shake?
#1
Thumbs Up
Hello again guys! hopefully this will be my last cry for help mechanically wise before I start the work on the wheels and the paint job...

I noticed a slightly different noise coming from the front of my van - on closer inspection I rounded it down to the passenger side front wheel. It's rather hard to explain but i'll try ... If I hold the wheel and move it as though im moving a steering wheel there is slight play - It moves probably an inch forward and an inch backwards. I've tried to research this movement but all I can find is people explaining it as though a wheel would move if the nuts were loose... I hope I explained it well

any help would be fabulous

I would guess on the bushings on the lower arm.

Jack it up, remove the wheel and see if you can move the arm.

With the amount of play you have, that car is very unsafe to drive.

They toe out enormously on cornering, I don't think it's so much unsafe as bad for the tyres and fuel economy.
