I spoke to the diesel fuel pump specialists earlier today, I mentioned the problems I was having and he pointed out that the fuel pump will be the culprit and possibly why the pulley broke in the first place. He explained the reasons why these pumps are expensive to repair, mainly because not many running with this type of pump. I was taken aback at the repair cost but will probably go with it as I have spent a bit already.i would have liked to try a secondhand unit but £150 upwards with no guarantees seems risky.
