I have a resolution to revs not falling back when changing gear but happened on it by accident !
I needed to isolate the battery to remove the drivers air-bag due to the horn not working
( sorted by securing the earth wire to the alloy steering wheel casting with a self tapper just as I did with my previous Multispace )
and when the battery was reconnected the revs issue simply went away and this happy event has been sustained over a period of around 600 miles.
In addition the car now runs better, sharper acceleration and also a reduction of fuel consumption by around 5 MPG
So if having troubles give the battery disconnect a try you never know it may just help you.
By the way prior to disconnect my code reader saw no stored or current problems.
Thats interesting so a simple reset put it right? Always good to know and glad you sorted it Geoff
