We're a week today into our ownership of our new to us 14 plate 1.6 HDi 90 XTR in White and so far so good and even the 18 yr old is enjoying driving it before his test in a few weeks
I'm hopeful of getting some kind of boot jump for it as I'm into the whole outdoors thing, maybe even build my own, but Mrs Hong Kong isn't so keen on the idea!!
Hopefully we'll not have any problems, but I know where to look first now.
Hi Kenny and welcome to the forum. You will have lots of fun in it. Give the forum a search for boot jumps. Some folks have created some amazing boot jumps themselves. Where does the Hong Kong come from? Are you handy with a wok? I'm addicted to Cantonese food.

Hi 3rensho
Thanks and I'll start looking at diy plans.
The Hong Kong comes from my childhood love of Hong Kong Phooey :-) Never used a wok to be honest!
We have a 2007 1.6 90 - only problems we had were a loose top cover on the turbo heat shield (they suffer fatigue where they bolt to the block and fracture) which rattled like blazes (it drops down and sits on top of the turbo itself). Air box & input pipes were all loose allowing the breather to pull out of the inlet manifold a little causing a small oil leak - couple of new fitting grommets and a cable tie fixed that.
Other than that just cast an eye underneath to see what's what - ours has just under 140,000 miles on it and we're very pleased with it.
