Have any owners any experience of theses roof vents, they are the little spinning ones often seen on commercial vans. I would just like to hear any views on them regarding noise, efficiency and such as I am in the process of buying a Berlingo to replace my VW California and was thinking that such a gent may help with camping condensation, interior temperature and as I’m looking at an XL misty windows when seven up.
Many thanks Mick.

Many years ago we had them on our dog vans at work, they were fine. It looks that they are plastic now so should last better.

They will spin when the wind blows not only when the vehicle is moving.

What is it he dislikes about it ?
He doesn't like the permanent draft, OK in hot weather but chilly at other times.

He must have an old model installed then - all the new models have shutters fitted to the inner section that can be closed to stop any extraction or draft.
