Each to their own I guess, but gimme a drop of Weston's 'Old Rosie', a decent cheddar, home-made bread and an onion and the day's a good 'un! unny:unny:unny:
Hope you're not looking for romance after that snack.
Nah! Not looking for romance, though one evening after our regular visit to our neighbour and life-long cider-maker my wife, after a drop too much, bought some sheep from him. Next day, with severe hangover, she had to back out of the deal.
At this point I would like to point out that sheep do not hold any attraction whatever for me, OK? Just in case people were wondering....

There used to be a couple of places locally where you get that. Take your own polykeg or whatever and that was you set ! Sadly they're not about anymore and I simply can't abide the fizzy stuff. In desperation I bought a cider home brew kit which is now maturing in the garage, can't wait to see what it's like
There were a couple of cider houses in Plymouth that used to sell lovely stuff. One isn't there anymore and the other isn't what it used to be. They would only serve the cider in halves, which used to cause problems to those who hadn't been there before and didn't know better - they soon learnt why.
