happened to me on the way home from work, wouldnt budge, def not clutch as i was able to start it and stall when i released it, in the end i gave the gear stick a right good shaking and it came free, done a google search but cant find anything effecting later shape, alls fine now and is going into all gears no problem, any ideas what could of caused it?

Maybe something fell into the gear cable mechanism. I would check the gear oil personally, because 5th gear is always the 1st to die if the oil level is dropping low.

driven 120 miles today and its been fine, i will ask my mechanic buddy to check the oil
