Red 10 Plate Xtr (Not mine)
#1
I saw this while looking for a Berlingo recently.

It is at http://www.specialcarz.co.uk
It looks stunning but the price looks too good to be true. Then I realized it is Cat d.
Not too much of a problem thought I so I did an hpi check. It was insurance cat d in March this year. No other issues BUT there is no record of a VIC certificate being issued. Probably perfectly legit but I didn't want to take the risk. A quick call might give the answer.

They have a blue cat d Vtr plus as well but I never checked that one.

Cat D doesn't require a VIC, you can put it straight back on the road usually stolen recovered or cosmetic damage type claims. I used to buy them and repair my own as a cheap means to get a newish car but nowadays it's not as cheap as it used to be. I never had a problem with insurance but some people say they have had problems claiming in the event of anything happening.
So where does this bit go then ?

Oh I never realized that. Wish I'd gone for it now! Still, pick my Vtr up later today.
