Parcel Shelf won't fit.

I have a 2004 Berlingo Multispace Forte. It came without a parcel shelf so I bought one from Ebay. It's the folding one rather than the roll-up one. From everything I read they were interchangeable. Mine doesn't fit!

It's definitely the one for my age of car. The shape of it is correct in where it sits in the car but the pegs on it don't seem to go anywhere into the plastic trim either side. The leading edge, where it sits against the tailgate, just flops down because the pegs are too short to fit in the location hole. The middle pegs have nowhere to go and the back pegs that point inwards don't clip to or slot into anything.

I have had a look on the Citroen Service site and it appears there are three different types of side trim for the parcel shelves to clip into!

Anyone any ideas?

I originally had the folding one and changed it for the roller one and both fitted.

In mine, On the right hand side there are 3 small recess compartments and the old folding one fit snuggly over them I think?

Have you a photo of the trim area??

I can get photos but from the Citroen Parts website I can see there are three different trim parts. A quick check on Ebay and I found the ones that are for the folding tray, they have a an extra slot that sticks out. It looks like a roll-up tray fits any car but not necessarily the other way round.

What is still confusing me is the two pegs at the back on a folding tray that point INwards. I am now thinking there are clips that go on the back of the rear seats too?!?!
