Service Spanner wont turn off!
#1
Hi Guys

Mk1 2002 Berlingo Mutlispace

Tried this:
http://www.berlingoforum.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=268

And This:
"1)Press and hold button on the speedo which resets trip meter, turn ignition on
2) Press for 5 seconds, release button
3) Turn ignition off
4)Turn ignition on, spanner symbol will illuminate for 5 seconds
5)Turn ign off.
And that should reset the service indicator!

Tried every other option.

The button does work fine, but the service spanner won't disappear.
Also tried reseting the BSI, no joy.

Anybody got any ideas?

BTW: I have never been able to reset this even though I have serviced it twice.

Thanks

Hi Andre

No it does not do the countdown.
Does the Mk1 do the countdown?

I can press the button and it works fine but wont reset.

Thanks.

My mk1 does a countdown.

Thanks for that Steve, at least I know that now.

The strange thing is why does the button work fine but I can't get the countdown?
