Waeco cr-50 is what we use in campers, but I think you need to check the specs, the fridge shuts off at 10.4v which won't save your battery at all, it's designed to not permanently kill your leisure battery by dropping it below approx 11v with no load

I don't know much about 12/14 volt and all that stuff, but we have now used the fridge for at least 5 years without any troubles whatsoever. It has saved us a lot of money buying food on the way and not having to throw anything away, and the battery is still up and running.
