Bonnet stay
#1
Don't know if anyone else has noticed this, I hadn't until today...
The bonnet stay has actually 2 positions, an upper & a lower.
The upper position, the lower of the 2 holes (?), is covered by a plastic blank.
Remove this and place in the original hole.
The bonnet in the lower position opens 60 degrees.
The bonnet in the upper position opens 70 degrees.
Or vice versa; you know what I mean.
Doesn't sound much, but try it, makes big difference.
Especially if you are tall. Ouch!
The first picture shows the 2 holes with the blank removed.
The second and third the different angles.
10 second modification for easier access.

One step further and a 5 second mod, take out blank and throw it away, then you have 2 choices of position !

Correct.

Never realised how clean it looks under my bonnet.
Thanks for not noticing.Confusedillyme:

Its useful when working on engine but be careful if its very windy as it makes the bonnet really catch the wind.
