Brakepads

I need to replace my front brakepads on a Mk 2 Berlingo Van, before its MOT, is it easy,whats the proceedure?

very easy it takes longer to take off the wheels

theres 2 13/14mm bolts at the back of the caliper. holding the top half of the caliper to the bottom.

it then lifts off push the pot back into the caliper, old pads slide out new ones in job done.

It is as easy as corky said. I was trying to find a thread from a while back where i listed the instructions, but havent been successful in finding it.

Possibly, they've been on about two years and for what they cost I may well replace them, rear pads should be due a change as well.

why replace disks just cos they`v been on for 2 years?

you should get over hundred thousand miles out of a set of disks

The discs on mine had to be changed at 36,000
2005 Berlingo Multispace 1.6i Desire (Iron Grey)

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

because they feel a bit juddery on braking hard so may be slightly warped, and because I want to.
