I had trouble getting my spare wheel bolt undone as it was rusted solid ! So I have made the bolt and hook from marine grade stainless steel , I have tested the one I have made on my berlingo with no problems , if I get enough intrest I will produce more . The price will be about £13 !

Have no problems with my bolt; it lives in the shed along with the carrier.

Me too!! Actually the carrier went to the scrappies... got 17 quid for it.. I'm never selling my lingo and like a nice clean spare! Is lashed in the back.

I need the boot space for taxi use, but if it were an option for me, I would also prefer the spare to be located IN the car in a tyrewell instead of being slung into a metal hammock underneath and exposed to the elements and thieving b**tards.

£17 for your carrier!
Guess where I'm going tomorrow?
Better than it sitting in the shed gathering dust.
Now what else un-bolts...? cratch:
Just to check.
Saved £13 buying new stainless bolt, and make £17 selling carrier.
That's £30. :woop:
Result!

Are you still making these? I'd like one, if you are!
