Sorry to bring this up again but as most of the threads about this subject are getting old now I thought I'd start a new one for 2019 to see what folks are using as curtains or blackout blinds. And to see if there are any new products out there?
I made my own blinds from heavy-duty Black canvas, silver insulation stuff and suction cups for my 2011 Tepee Outdoor. I used this video as a guide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfPYhDCbnG8
They work well enough with the tinted windows but there is still too much light leak for my liking, from the outside you can tell the lights are on but you do have to be stood near the car.
The hardest window to do is the sliding door pop-out windows, but I may have a solution for that. The other 2 side windows where very easy as was the rear, I use magnets to hold that one in place.
I was looking at these https://www.motorblinds.co.uk/product/pe...piece-set/ and wondered if anyone has personal experience with these, do they fit the windows well, well enough for no light leaks?

Sorry , im interested in this issue too
I was considering making my own and using magnets sewn into the material with a velcro strip at the bottom rear and side windows and as I would only see them when I am inside I would allow them to overlap maybe 5 mm all round !/? as for the front , not thought of that one yet but did think I would put a curtain just behind the seats using the magnets from the ceiling and then sleep with head at back of vehicle
And does it make a difference with the thermo and if no windows are open where does the condensation go ? what do we do for that , do we put pound shop humidifiers around the car ? or those bean bag thongs that you pop in the microwave
Mike ( hope this is all related and helps )

anybody know the quality of these
I got these and they are not bad! I thought for £100 it was worth buying rather than making some. The fitment is good (not amazing but good).
I personally think they are worth it. (mine are the same brand/ from the same seller but for a M59 berlingo)

thanks ,
I can see the advantages of these for keeping car cool or hot as required
Can I ask do these also help in terms of damp ? condensation ..I imagine sleeping in my car a van will no doubt produce this , so unless I open the windows what does everybody do regarding damp

How did you get on with yours and did you find damp to be a problem?
Thanks

Would these be called hot pants in the old days and I wonder if Amazon sells them?
They could be nasty if you put them on just out of the microwave !

Re the re-flective blinds , I'm sure this is the time Aldi, Lidl, poudland etc sell them @ £3/4 each as windscreen covers , for protection from frost . 10 of those and a good pair of scissors and some rubber suckers and youv'e got a set , a lot cheaper than over £100.00

Might this stuff (laminate insulated underlay) work, cut to size:

Maybe fix to the windows with magnetic tape?
