Delivery times..... for 2021
#41
I have a VIN !  Apparently my e-Berlingo is on the docks at Vigo waiting for a ship; due at the RDC (Coventry?) between 28th Dec and 4th Jan
Son-in-law ordered a Vauxhall Combo-E Life back in September, now being quoted sometime in March?
And the government yesterday lowered the threshold price and the grant amount on all electrics.
Happy days.....

I've had to change my collection date to Tuesday now due to the family having Covid - so I am now living on the boat until Christmas Eve which is 30 miles from the dealership!
Previous Berlingo: 2015 1.6 L1850 90ps In Artic Steel inc Look Pack and Lighting Pack.

Previous Berlingo: K9 2018 Driver M 100ps in Platinum Grey with Safety Pack

CORRECTION - UPDATE - GLOOM

Now likely to reach Sheerness on Christmas Eve in the good ship Prometheus Leader, but new quoted time for delivery to RDC is "18/1/2022 but it can arrive anytime between 28/12/2021 and 2/3/2022."

Update!

Collected it yesterday - not a huge amount of differences except its an auto from my previous Bingo.

Some of the functions on the stalk are slightly different but i am making my way through them.

I will say that the 1.5 130ps engine with the EAT8 box is lovely to drive though!

Vauxhall Ellesmere Port plant should be producing electric Berlingo / Rifter / Combos at some point in 2022.
this will significantly reduce the wait time for UK buyers.

I phoned dealer before Xmas & presumed no chance of March 1st delivery as nothing heard ? Salesman reckoned if it is built by end of Jan it should arrive on time. He said it is possible he will not know of build date until as late as the day before it is built.

Thread title needs updating btw.  Big Grin

My e-Berlingo ordered mid-June arrived at Sheerness on New Year's Eve.
There is "no data" on how long it will take to get to dealer .....

In comparison to other brands

Dacia - 4 months wait all models
Ford - 7-11 months depending on model
Nissan - 1-4 months depending on model
VW 4-8 months wait on cars, 6-9 months for new VW caddy MPV
