You could try your local university - science or environmental faculties. Person over here in NL with local nasty water did that with success. Is yours bright red and poisonous?

OK, exaggeration - I just wondered what was the perceived prob with the water. I've seen strange colour and come across strange odours in city water in a couple of places!

I cant proceed with a project until I can certify the supply meets minimum safety standards.
The local NHS no longer do testing so it means a trek up to shrewsbury .The local dispensing chemisst doesnt either.
The county council are being a p.i.t.a.
There quite a few commercial outfits happy to do it but I need an impartial process where the same company isnt going to find problems to which they have the very solution.
