Just to say hello
Getting 53 reg 2.0 HDi Desire this week only had one owner with FSH done 70K.
Looks a very practical vehicle with loads of space.Hopefully it should be very good on fuel economy.

Hello and glad to see another Berlinguist.
It should be good on fuel economy, perhaps not very good though.

wow , big challenge ahead, good luck to you, I`m not mechanical so cant really offer much help. hope it goes well. look for receipts, service history, body work in good order , any joints between panels evenly spaced. [ no bodged repairs]. have a test drive, make sure all instruments work, electric windows work, wipers work, no squeely noises from brakes, hold steering wheel lightly and brake hard, see if it pulls to left or right. when engine running is it noisy [above average].
again good luck
Pete

Ideally there should be two or more keys. Both keys should fit everything on the vehicle i.e. work the ignition, open all the doors and the fuel filler cap, unless for any reason this has been replace when you may have to have a separate key.
Normally both keys will be black but one may have 2 buttons on it for the remote central locking (if fitted) the other key will have a plain fob.
Pity you can't get anybody to have a quick look or try-out for you, good luck and let us know how you go on.
Any problems, please come back to the forum and I am sure that somebody will be able to offer advice, we don't charge, we don't bite and moreover, don't be afraid to ask.
Said it before and I'll say it again, the daftest question is the one you didn't ask but wished that you had:!::!::!:
