The clutch feels like it was the days i got it to me but as I'm use to driving trucks all car clutches feel light

Car is Booked into Arnold Clark on Friday so they can diagnose it would rather not use them but parts should be under auto care warranty so needs must .

I did email citroen as advised and there reply was if I booked it into a main dealer for investigation they would cover the parts if it was found to be a manufacture fault but obviously couldn't guarantee it.

Does the idle speed appear low? Modern cars don't have the good old fashioned adjustment screws. If the idle is low,a dose of fuel cleaner MAY bring it up.Confusedalut:
Update and I'm not sure what to do

Took the car into Arnold Clark today who looked at it and said they want to remove the gear box so no car for three days.
So wondering do.i trust them to do the job and hope warranty covers it or do I wait till noise gets louder

If the thrust bearing is noisy then it needs fixing. I suppose you have to trust them in as much as they will decide whether it is a premature failure & covered by warranty or wear & tear. When my egr valve failed 6mths out of warranty, after an email exchange with Citroen UK they paid for parts & I paid for labour so met halfway. Will they not give you a courtesy car? My Citroen garage does.

Cheers bud guess your right will have to trust them the noise isn't very loud atm and I only heard cause it was a very quite night. They did offer me a courtesy car (Fiat 500) but there was none available so been forced to.hire a van for the week 102 quid Smile. I had read about your egr valve so I did contact citroen who said they would be happy to diagnose it and fix it if it was a premature failure but if not said it would be very expensive so recommended doing it under the auto care warranty from ac as this would be cheaper

I fail to see how it is not premature failure!

My lingo is 10 years old with 150,000 miles on the clock and as far as I know it has never failed.

That just goes to show then its obvious premature, well the car went in to them on Tuesday and they have sent the gear box off for repair and fitted a new clutch I believe so will find out tomorrow if the warranty will pay up or if its going to cost me a bomb
