[Engine] 2,0HDi (90) Engine Cover
#1
Just got my new vehicle however the engine cover is missing

Can I simply buy any Citroen 2.0HDi engine cover of does it have to be Berlingo specific?

Is the 2.0HDI 110 cover the same as the 90 one?

There are some on ebay but looking at this one it looks like the oil filler is in the wrong place - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITROEN-ENGINE...3a98a4f8f4

I then saw this one - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITROEN-C5-MK1...27ee378cfe , is this the correct one or maybe this one - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITROEN-ENGINE...3ce99f2a43

Thanks

Our 90 looks like the C5 110 on there which it says may not fit a 90 with the oil filler in the rear left corner.
So where does this bit go then ?

Thanks, the last 2 look very similar, the C5 one the oil filler area is a hiole whereas the other one is a cutout.

Could I trouble you check to see which one your is

Don't bother, they are more trouble than they're worth.

I swapped my broken rubber mounts and the original fasteners for some M6 rubber mounts from the local spares shop, I think they are for a petrol pump originally but they do the job nicely. Throw the original clip on fasteners and fit M6 wing nuts and the top will stay put. I took mine off as it was rattling before I did the swap but it does stop some engine noise and it looks nice when you lift the bonnet.
So where does this bit go then ?

Mine came loose and started making rattling noises, so I just took it off. That was last year and I haven't seen any reason to put it back in.

edit: Until I sell it, that is. Smile
