Just wondering if any one has / used a portable solar panel.
If so are they any good?
And if they are any good which one or ones would any body recommend?

It depends on what you want to power.
I have the following and am very pleased but good quality and not cheap.
A Freeloader ISIS 5v 1A and the Freeloader Supercharger 5w.

Plus a Brunton lightwave Camp Rocker which is far more than a solar light. For some reason they don't show the light or solar etc on their website apart from the manual page which lists the above plus solar panels.

I'm thinking the hubi 10k would be great for off grid/non electric pitches at campsites. With my amdro boot jump and berlingo

I have looked at the hubi 10k which is on sale at go outdoors for £179 also on sale at Maplin.

I use a 50watt foldable panel, it goes to a 100amp battery. I use it for night lights, charge phone and recharge my laptop. Battery has never fallen below 1/2.
