Have just had a tow bar fitted and it is a Thule swan neck bar which means my nice stainless steel back plate wont fit!!! Does anyone do one or shall I have to make up an adaptor plate of some kind? Unfortunately my tow bar mounted bike rack wont fit also. Should have thought to ask what type of bar was to be fitted but didnt even contemplate it.

I could never get a backplate to fit -the doors wouldnt open.
Your local fabricators would surely be able to make up a bracket to fit between the towbar socket and the bike rack
Maybe get a replacement spare neck from Thule and get them to weld a plate onto it.
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

It might be as easy to get a new bike rack. Decathlon do a decent 3 bike one that fits a Swan neck for about 70 quid
