DRL not working
#1
Shocked
Hello guys.

i have purchased today 2016. Berlingo van,and have noticed that daylight running lights are not working, they are original yes.

Is there some trick how to turn them on,or only with diagnostics? Thank you experts Wink

They could have been disabled by someone with DiagBox software, if so then you would need to use that software again to re enable it. You can buy the kit on eBay or online but it needs some steps to install and use. Not so easy for a beginner but there may be someone in your area who has it.

I have. 2015 van and the DRLs can be enabled and disabled in the centre display menus. Failing that I did see that they can be disabled in diagbox too.

Just click the vehicle settings in the menu - there is for sure a way to turn them off otherwise they just work as side lights

Manual attached, see page 49.

If the sidelights or main lights are turned on, the DRL's are automatically deactivated. They can also be turned off using the configuration menu.

It is also possible to configure the DRLs to stay on with the sidelights in diagbox. I tried it but I didn't like it

For your issue though - and I am assuming you have an RD45 radio and orange centre display - check the vehicle configuration settings in the van itself first.
