The more I think about it I think I prefer an awning which goes on the side as I'll be using that to get in and out of the boot jump also I would prefer to keep the tailgate down and locked.
The Decathlon one looks good and would go on the side I'm also considering this smaller one

I've been on some windy camp sites trying to keep awnings up in the middle of the night, Storm Dennis the most recent, so making sure its secure would be a major factor for me
