Bought a Berlingo this weekend :)
#1
Hello all

Finally have my own Berlingo after ages of looking.  She (CherryBomb) is a Red 2003 Multispace forte hdi 2litre diesel. Well cared for and comfortable to drive. I am very happy though slightly anxious now I have removed a strip of black tape from the dashboard and spotted the airbag light on! Lots of useful info on here so I am hoping to find and fix it before the mot (June)

Happy motoring!

In our car same model and year it's usually the connectors under one of the front seats. I pull them apart and clean them then reconnect and the light goes out
So where does this bit go then ?

As above, it may well be the connectors. You need to be a bit careful when disconnecting them, including disconnecting the battery for 10-15 mins before doing any work on them & to be on the safe side. The battery itself needs to be disconnected about 10 mins after lifting the bonnet, taking the key out & shutting the door so that the systems have shut down.

Here's a link that shows the connectors:

Thank you for this, sadly cleaning the connectors didn't work, will read up a bit more and see what else can be done.
