When I had my MA5(quite similar, with the filler also at the end) gearbox out, I used a funnel which I added a long, clear plastic tube to, and hung it inside the engine compartment, and slowly added oil.
And I kept the oil cans in a bucket of hot water.
(As hot as I could make it. )
